Rural and Lifestyle Fencing - Fencing

Dressage ArenaRural and Lifestyle Fencing have been involved in many equestrian projects. From fencing paddocks to arena surrounds, handling facilities, round yards and stalls

Having horses of our own means we understand the unique solutions that are needed to to make both yours and the horses lives more enjoyable and safe! We have helped design and build arenas, yards, shelters and fences.
Andy has been involved with horses for many years. He has owned and run a successful Appaloosa Stud, standing SOUTHBOUND Mc CUE, for many years, along with his former wife. This entailed handling the stallion, our own mares and foals, yearling, plus outside mares.

Through the Stud Andy became a member of Canterbury and Districts Regional Appaloosa club, eventually becoming president, and also as a committee member of ApHANZ, the Appaloosa Horse Association of New Zealand, frequently flying to Auckland to attend conferences.

Andy has been involved in many shows and events, from helping organise three day shows, to gate and ring stewarding for the national Appaloosa Show as well as in hand showing the studs, young stock and most things in between. Andy has also been involved in the Canterbury endurance and trail riding club competing for many years in trail riding.

Whether in full training or turned out, horse or pony fencing, yards, and handling facilities, need to be safe, well maintained, and tall enough to be secure.
If you are wanting a competent fencing contractor working around your horses, then Rural and lifestyle Fencing are your people. Andy is happy to discuss your horses needs whether it be a new yard, training ring, or removing that barbed wire from the back fence, to completely re fencing your block.
